PESHAWAR, July 19: Three persons facing a murder charge were granted bail by the court of the additional district and sessions judge here.

The presiding officer, Azharul Habib, directed that the accused-applicant should be released on furnishing two sureties of Rs100,000 each.

The accused - Hayat Khan, Shamshad Khan and Faqir Gul - were arrested after a resident of Larama area was killed in front of his house on Feb 15, 2002, in the jurisdiction of Daudzai police station.

The complainant party charged them for the offence. Advocate Man Abdul Fayyaz Khan appeared for the applicants and argued that it was a case of no-evidence.

He added that the identification of the accused was doubtful as the murder happened at night.

He contended that the accused were falsely implicated in the case.
