QUETTA, July 12: Iran and Turkey have agreed to participate in the Quetta International Festival 2002, which will begin from July 15 and continue till Aug 14, chairman of the festival, Balochistan Planning and Development Minister Malik Naeem Ahmed said on Thursday.

Speaking at a press conference with Provincial Industries Minister Sardar Mohammad Ali Jogezai, he said 275 industries had confirmed their participation in the agriculture and industrial exhibition on the eve of the festival.

He said industrialists from Turkey and Iran would also participate in the festival.

He said 40 industries of Hub were participating in the festival.

The festival’s chairman said government departments from all provinces were establishing their stalls to introduce their products and inform the people about their performance.

He said agriculture, industries, livestock, small industries, education, information and other provincial departments would establish their stalls in the festival.

He said over 300 stalls in the Ayub Stadium had been allotted to different departments, industries and companies.
