3 notorious criminals arrested

LANDI KOTAL, July 7: The authorities in Khyber Agency arrested three notorious criminals in different raids during the last week.

The political administration of Jamrud Tehsil, during a blockade of Takhtabeg Road, arrested Jihad Ali Kukikhel, wanted in a number of dacoities, theft and kidnapping cases.

Another criminal, Gulas Khan Katyakhel, was arrested during a raid in the Wazirdhand area and handed over to the Pesha-war police.

The Jamrud administration has started conducting search operations and set up road blockades on different roads which has helped in improving the law and order situation.

The Jamrud Tehsil has been a den of notorious criminals and proclaimed offenders for long.

Another notorious kidnapper, Naseeb Khan alias Naseebo, was arrested by the Kurram Agency administration and was handed over to the Bara political administration. Naseebo had kidnapped two young boys Lal Wazir and Mirza Khan from Bara last year.

On Friday, Naseebo was coming from Tirah via Sadda when he was arrested by the Kurram levies and was later brought to Bara upon the request of the assistant political agent, Bara. He is also required by the Peshawar police in a number of kidnapping cases.
