KARACHI, June 27: Fifteen vehicles — four cars and 11 motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in the city on Thursday, the police said.

Two cars were hijacked, including ACM-074 which was hijacked in Block-F of North Nazimabad. Two others were stolen.

Five motorcycles were hijacked. Six others were stolen.

The police also claimed on Thursday to have recovered three cars and five motorcycles in the city.

ROBBERIES: Armed men looted at least 10 shops in broad daylight in Kalri on Thursday.

Witnesses said that several bandits came to shops situated near Juna Masjid on Shah Abdul Latif Road in Kalri.

Shopkeepers claimed that two policemen, posted at the mosque, turned a blind eye to the robberies saying that they were posted at the mosque only.

The bandits also resorted to aerial firing.

KILLED: The body of a teenage boy was found at an under-construction building in North Nazimabad on Thursday.

The police said that the body of a 14-year-old boy was found in Block-B in North Nazimabad.
