PESHAWAR, June 24: The PTCL, Northern Region-I, has asked the people to avail the facility of telephone connections within 48 hours through a special package which will continue till the end of June 2002.

In a press release issued here on Monday, the PTCL spokesman said that special camps were already operating in busy public spots and business centres throughout the region.

He said the strategy of one-window operation had been adopted in these camps where registration of NTC, issuing and depositing of demand notes and bank facilities were being provided to avoid formalities and inconvenience to the people.
