KARACHI, June 6: Karachi University were declared champions of the sixth inter-University athletics boys championship that ended Thursday.
Karachi University amassed 135 points to Sindh University’s 89 points. Hamdard University with 37 points came third.
M. Imran of Karachi University was declared the fastest athlete of the games, clocking 11.87 in the 100 metres dash.

400m: 1-Asif (KU) 55.50 sec., 2-Muddasir (KU) 56.9 sec., 3-Altaf (Sindh) 57.60 sec.
1500m: 1-Tariq (KU) 4 min 43.72 sec., 2-Noorul Hassan (Sindh) 4 min 43.81 sec., 3-Gul Habib (Sindh) 4 min 59/16 sec.
