Spurious medicines factory sealed
FAISALABAD, June 2: A drug factory was sealed and its owner was arrested on Sunday on the charge of manufacturing spurious medicines in Muslim Park.
On a tip-off, a Health Department team headed by drug inspector Shamshad Ahmed raided the factory — Mehdi Mark International (Pvt) Limited — and found its workers and owner manufacturing spurious drugs. The raiding team sent samples of medicines and injections to laboratory for analysis.
Factory owner Irshad was handed over to Batala police who booked him under the Drug Act.
