SSC members’ names announced

ISLAMABAD, June 1: The organizing committee of the Sindh Solidarity Committee has announced the names of 56 members of the Sindh Solidarity Council (SSC).

The names of the council members are: Syed Jalal Mehmood Shah, Mir Sunder Khan Sundrani, Rahim Bakhsh Soomro, Shahnawaz Junejo, Rais Naban Khan Lund, Faisal Kachelo, Rais Nabi Bakhsh Bhurgari, Abdul Mujeeb Pirzada, Usman Baloch, Syed Khadim Ali Shah, Sardar Mohammad Salah Golo, Bheero Lal, Gul Mohammad Jakhrani, Dr Manzoor Leghari, Zafar Iqbal Silal, Haji Usman Jalbani, Sardar Haji Khan Chachar, Pir Ghulam Shah Jeelani, Sardar Mohammad Murad Sullo, Maqbool Rahimtoola, Sardar Himat Ali Kamario, Ali Akbar Nizamani, Mr Zahid Hussain Bhurgari, Allahwarayo Soomro, Mohammad Yousuf Leghari, Syed Ghulam Shah, Pir Abdul Khaliq Shurchondi, Gian Chand Esrani, Syed Hasan Mehmood Shah Amroti, Ali Asghar Rind, Shahnawaz Khushk, Dr Khalid Mehmood Soomro, Mohammad Baksh Khaskheli, Prince Mehdi Reza Talpur, Haji Rehmatullah Behan, Syed Murad Ali Shah, Shamsheer Bhurgari, Dr Hamida Khuhro, Dr Ibrahim Jatoi, Syed Ain Shah, Moulana Ehtramul Haq Thanvi, Yousuf Masti Khan, Kanwar Idrees, Sardar Ahmed Ali Pitafi, Jam Zulfikar Ali, Pir Sajjad Sarhandi, Mir Haider Talpur, Malik Allaudin, Dr Sabiha Moghul, Mir Mohammad Khokhar, Hameed Sindhi, Taj Mohammad Sheikh, Ibrahim Joyo, Sadh Ram, Rizwan Kahar and Irshad Hussain Pir Sadiq of Luari.

The announcement says the SSC is a purely apolitical body, whose objective is to deal with the multitude of problems that kept rising in Sindh.

The body will take up these issues with the government and will suggest means for their solution.
