KARACHI, June 1: An acute water shortage persists in Kharadar and other adjoining areas for the last several days.

Area people said their complaints to the additional engineer and XEN about water shortage have gone in vain.

The affectees have urged the higher authorities to come to their rescue as they can’t afford to buy water at exorbitant rates.
