Aramco to invite bids

RIYADH, May 30: State-owned Saudi oil giant Aramco plans to invite offers for around 94 projects worth some $4 billion in the coming 18 months, a top energy official was quoted as saying on Thursday.

Aramco’s deputy chairman for projects Issam al-Bayati told Al-Watan daily most of the projects involve construction of plants for liquid gas and petrol.

The company would invite offers as of now until the end of next year, he said.—AFP
