KARACHI: Eight cars, 12 bikes taken away

KARACHI, May 29: At least 20 vehicles — eight cars and 12 motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in different parts of the city on Wednesday, police said.

Six cars were hijacked and two were stolen, while eight motorcycles were hijacked and four were stolen.

Police claimed to have recovered four cars and five motorcycles in various parts of the city.

ROBBERIES: At least four robberies were committed in different parts of the city.

Reports said gunmen barged into the house of one Amir Ali in Model Colony, robbed him of cash and valuables and escaped.

Two armed men sneaked into the house of Usman Azeem in PIB Colony and deprived him of cash and valuables.

Mohammad Nasir was looted of cash and other electronic equipment in Nazimabad.

Hameeda Banoo, lodged a report with the Buffer Zone police that bandits barged into her house and robbed her of cash and valuables.
