KARACHI: PSA moot concludes


KARACHI May 20: The annual conference of the Pakistan Society of Anaesthesiologists concluded here on Monday where speakers spoke about anaesthesia in emergency including cardio pulmonary resuscitation and current standards being practised in Pakistan.

The session witnessed CPR drill presentation by Dr Tipu Sultan and Dr Saeeda Haider on a dummy where the participants were informed about modern research and international studies conducted in this regard.

They stressed that all staff of operation theatre and particularly the anaesthesia assistant and nurse must attain expertise in CPR by practising it as much as possible.—PPI
