RAWALPINDI, May 16: The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) has extended the closing date of the third industrial exhibition till June 9.

The decision was taken in a meeting presided over by RCCI President Sohail A. Sethi.

The chairman of the exhibition committee and RCCI’s vice- president Rizwan Mohammad said due to a number of appeals from stall-holders, “we were forced to extend the closing date till June 9”.

Earlier, Mr Sethi briefed the meeting on RCCI’s activities for the last month. He said the exhibition was organized to introduce Pakistani products in Afghan markets. Afghanistan’s finance minister Hadayat Amin Arsala and his 19-member trade delegation visited the exhibition and showed keen interest in the local products, he added.

Meanwhile, Nigerian Ambassador Idrees Waziri visited the third industrial exhibition.

Mr Sethi, Vice-President Rizwan Mohammad, Senior Vice- President Hussain A. Ozgen and the executive members welcomed the distinguished guest and showed him various stalls.
