WANA, May 16: The residents and Maliks of South Waziristan Agency have demanded of the government to start construction work on the civil dispensaries allocated to the agency in the ADP 2001-2002.

Speaking at a press conference here on Thursday, Malik Khanzada Wazir, Malik Amir Mohammad, Malik Balich Khan Mahsud, Dr Mohammad Qareeb Barki, Waziristan Peace Committee president Haji Gulsa Khan Mahsud and other tribal elders said that the government had approved the establishment of health centres in the ADP 2001-2002 to provide better health facilities to the tribesmen, including 10 dispensaries for the South Waziristan Agency.

They claimed that the authorities had also prepared the PC-I for the health outlets project, but the construction could not start for unknown reasons, which has disappointed the people.

They appealed to the NWFP governor to issue orders for the early construction of the dispensaries, reports our correspondent.
