KARACHI: Technical education


KARACHI, May 9: Education minister for Sindh, Prof Anita Ghulam Ali, has said that the department for dispensation of technical education has approached the federal government to seek financial assistance of Rs1 billion.

“The whole move is aimed at facilitating students in acquiring jobs or starting their own business”, she said in a handout issued in Karachi on Thursday.

The minister also said that in different areas of the province cadet colleges would be set up, costing an amount of Rs1.3 billion.—PPI
