Rajanpur SP summoned

MULTAN, May 6: The Lahore High Court, Multan bench, on Monday directed the Rajanpur SP to appear in person on May 21 on illegal detention of two persons who, police claimed, were confined for their own protection.

A bailiff recovered Karim Khan and Muhammad Ameen from the Kotla Mughlaan police post and produced them before the court on Monday. Their arrest was not mentioned in the daily diary.

Police said both the detenus were arrested on May 5, and their arrest was recorded at the Saddar police station of Jampur tehsil. They were confined at the Kotla Mughlaan police post to provide them protection, police said. — APP
