Two held with fake cheque

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, April 26: The Cantt police have arrested two men of Mahsud tribe who were trying to get a fake cheque encashed from a bank.

Inamullah Kundi, manager ABL Circular Road informed the SSP Dera that two Men were trying to get a fake cheque encashed. The police apprehended Raisham Khan and Muhammad Ishaq from South Waziristan Agency and recovered the fake cheque.

Pickup No. PRH-8399 owned by the accused was also taken in custody. A case has been registered.

SUICIDE: A young man committed suicide at the Ara village. Reasons behind the suicide could not be known immediately.

Reports said that Mohammad Ayub, 21, went into his room, took his father’s shot-gun and fired into his abdomen. He died on the spot. Ayub was the younger brother of Mohammad Yaqoob, a leader of the People’s Students Federation.
