Medical college in Toba demanded

TOBA TEK SINGH, March 17: The Punjab government has been urged to construct the proposed medical college on 50 acres of land at a nearby Chak 323-JB, Trandi, some five kilometre from here.

The district Nazim said here on Sunday that work on the project would soon be started after the approval by the Punjab governor.

During his recent visit to the city, Punjab health minister Dr Muhammad Ahmad Chaudhry had announced the setting up of the medical college in Toba Tek Singh.

The district Nazim said the minister had also promised to provide an ECG machine and operation theatre equipment for two RHCs at Chak 399-JB.
