FAISALABAD, March 17: The Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) will hold workers’ conventions in all big cities and tehsils of the province soon after 10th of Muharram to start its election campaign.
This was announced by ex-MNAs Chaudhry Safdar Rehman, Mian Abdul Mannan, Akram Ansari, Rana Zahid Tauseef, ex-MPAs Khwaja Muhammad Islam, Rana Sanaullah Khan, Rana Muhammad Afzal and Zeeshan Elahi Shah in a statement here on Sunday.
They said PML chief Nawaz Sharif had directed party leaders to start election campaign after Muharram and organize rallies, demonstrations, workers’ conventions and corner meetings to apprise people of party manifesto and policies.
They said the PML-L would field its candidates in all provincial and national assembly constituencies.
About the return of the Sharif family, they announced that a decision in this regard would be taken at a meeting of the central executive committee next month.
