Eight teachers suspended

DADU, March 13: Eight teachers of the government middle and primary schools of Kolachi were suspended by the EDO, Education, Dadu, on Wednesday.

A special team of the Education Department led by the EDO, Education, M. Aslam Turk, paid a surprise visit to the middle and primary schools at Kolachi and found the eight teachers to be absent. He suspended them immediately.

OMBUDSMAN: The provincial ombudsman, Sindh, Justice (retd) Haziqul Khairi, said that the Sindh Government had not paid due attention to the backward district of Dadu.

He said this while talking to newsmen at the Circuit House on Wednesday.

He said that he had received a large number of complaints regarding all provincial departments including the police, the highways, revenue, education, irrigation, etc., in the district.

He said that the people of the district were poor and the Sindh Government must pay attention to their problems.

Later, the provincial ombudsman held an open Katchehry at the Circuit House.
