Two women killed in accident

DADU, March 8: Two women were killed and five other members of a family were seriously injured in an accident on the Indus Highway, near Manjhand town, on Thursday night.

A coach (R-0775) headed for Dadu from Hyderabad rammed into a donkey cart. Two women on the donkey cart, Gul Zahmir and Imam Zadi, were killed on the spot while five other members of their family were injured seriously.

The injured were identified as Imran, Deedar, Khalid, Gul Bano, and Parudd. All the injured were admitted to the health centre, Manjhand.

The Manjhand police have registered a case against the coach driver, Niaz Hussain Khokhar.

The police have also impounded the coach and arrested the driver.
