KARACHI: Road sense programme


KARACHI, March 5: Sindh Finance Minister Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh will be the chief guest at the second Karavan Karachi Road Sense Programme here on Wednesday.

For the past two months, the Karavan Karachi has been conducting road sense workshops at various schools in cooperation with the traffic police.

The first school to attend the programme was Shahwilayat Public School from Federal B. Area. This time, Hampton School; Government Girls Secondary School, Gizri; GGSS Junior Model I; GGSS Junior Model 2; GGSS P&T Colony; GGSS, Qamarul Islam; and GGSS Burhani have taken part in the workshops.

Since a large number of schools have been part of the Karavan event during 2001, the Karavan is conducting high profile monthly events and exhibitions of posters as well as traffic safety workshops in a large number of government and private schools.—APP
