KARACHI, March 2: Students from some 30 leading academic institution of the city will participate in the Nature Carnival 2002, being organised by the WWF Pakistan at the PAF Museum here on Sunday.
The primary activity during the day-long event will be the nature exhibition on environmental themes allocated on class and age basis. This would be besides a colourful fun fair, lucky draws, entertaining puppet shows, a lively musical performance and highly informative customized games designed to educate and create awareness on environmental issues.
An award and prize distribution ceremony will also be held prior to the culmination of the event to acknowledge the creativity as well as contribution of child participants.
A press release of the World Wide Fund for Nature Pakistan said the programme would help a direct interaction with the general public at a mass level besides effective communication with children.—APP
