Student stabbed by colleague
BAHAWALPUR, Feb 19: A first-year student was stabbed to death allegedly by his senior in the Abbas Degree College, Dera Nawab Sahib, about 40km from here, near Abbasia Chowk, Ahmedpur East, on Tuesday.
Arshad Hanif of the first year and Owais Zaidi of the third year quarrelled over a petty issue. Following an exchange of hot words, Owais attacked Hanif with a dagger. Hanif died on the spot.
