ISLAMABAD, Feb 11: An ISPR spokesman on Monday termed “false and concocted” the Indian allegation that an unmanned Pakistani spy drone intruded into Indian airspace.

The spokesman was responding to a query on a report cirulated by a foreign news agency in this regard.—APP

Earlier, AFP quoting an Indian defence official in Jammu said that an unmanned Pakistani spy drone intruded into “Indian airspace” early on Monday morning and crossed back across the Line of Control before Indian troops could shoot it down.

The spy plane flew about three kilometres inside occupied Kashmir’s Pittal and Pindi areas, 35 kilometres south of held Jammu, the official said.

The drone hovered over the area for a few minutes at an altitude of 2,000 metres, but Indian forces failed to shoot it down before it re-entered Pakistani airspace, he added.
