HYDERABAD: Writers demand Narejo’s release

Bureau Report

HYDERABAD, Jan 20: The writers and poets of Badin under the banner of the “Barsat Adabi Forum” observed token hunger strike outside the press club on Sunday in protest against the kidnapping of the former MRD convener, Hussain Bux Narejo, and a poet of Larkana, Manthar Solangi.

Talking to newsmen, Mithu Mehri, Dilshad Chawro, Ahsas Rahu, and Santosh Kumar criticized the authorities concerned for not recovering the kidnapped.

They said that had rich persons been kidnapped the government would have moved heaven and earth to recover them.

They said that since Mr Narejo and Mr Solangi did not have any political influence, no efforts were initiated for their recovery.

They demanded the government to have them recovered soon.
