Qayyum hurt in accident

MUZAFFARABAD, Jan 1: Muslim Conference chief and AJK former prime minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan and his son, Sardar Attique Ahmed, had a narrow escape on Tuesday afternoon when a bus dashed into their car near the Kohala town.

According to police, Mr Khan, his son and an aide were coming to Muzaffarabad from Rawalpindi when the allegedly speeding bus (AJKA-121) hit the car (ICK-625) near the Beerot village.

Mr Khan, who was sitting on the front seat, received minor injuries in the forehead. Others, including the driver, remained unhurt. Their vehicle was damaged badly. Mr Khan was given first aid in Kohala.
