KOHAT, Dec 20: Karak District Nazim Mohammad Sharif Khattak has rejected  the PC-1 for the district council building and offices for the Nazims and deputy Nazims of 21 union councils, prepared by the communication and works department.

In a meeting of the district development committee, he directed the officials concerned to revise the plan according to the recommendations  of the committee.

He said the Rs1.8 million sanctioned for the construction of a building for the Nazims should be utilised keeping in view the future requirements of the district.

The meeting decided that no plan would be okayed without the consent of the committee so that the members were able to add schemes of their preference or make changes in the schemes.

The committee ordered the relevant department to immediately start work  on the Kurd Sharif Road project and repairs of the buildings in use by the district council members.
