KARACHI, Dec 9: The institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi, reviewing its decision to increase the fee, has decided to reduce it from 28 per cent to 10 per cent.

This was stated by director IBA, Prof Dr Javed Ashraf on Sunday.

He said the decision in this respect was made at a meeting of IBA’s Board of Governors held on Saturday evening. The meeting was chaired by Justice Ahmed Sarwana, chairman of IBA Board of Governors.

Dr Javed Ashraf further said that the decision would be effective from January 1, 2001 when the next semester commenced.

Those students who have already paid the enhanced fee will be refunded the excess amount. Dr Javed Ashraf said the decision to decrease the fee from 28 to 10 percent has been taken in view of the concerns expressed by students and their parents.—APP
