NEW DELHI, Dec 3: A two-day meeting of the India-United States Defence Policy Group began in New Delhi on Monday to take up issues ranging from arms sales to the transfer of defence-related technology.
The meeting is a follow up of last month’s summit meeting between US President George W. Bush and Indian Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee.
During the meeting the two sides will also explore bilateral defence cooperation, military-to-military cooperation and exchanges, and training programmes for military personnel.—dpa
