Champion wants Tyson

LONDON, Nov 18: World heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis has Mike Tyson firmly in his sights after reclaiming his World Boxing Council (WBC) and International Boxing Federation (IBF) titles Saturday.

“The whole world wants me and Tyson to meet,” Lewis told Radio 5 Live Sunday. “So we are going to see if we can get that fight together.”

Lewis said he believed the former world undisputed champion wanted the fight.

Frank Maloney, Lewis’s former manager, said Tyson was the only fight Lewis should consider.

“He needs a defining fight in his career if he really wants to get alongside the legends and rank up there with the greats,” Maloney said.—Reuters
