Quetta, Sibi disqualified

KARACHI, Nov 3: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) scratched Quetta and Sibi after the disciplinary committee found that both the teams had violated the rules.

Pishin, who secured third place, were adjudged the winners of Balochistan regional final.

A press release of the PCB says: “The PCB disciplinary committee, after due deliberation on the protest lodged by Quetta in Sibi for including more than four guest players against the PCB rules in the regional final played at Karachi, has scratched both the teams as it was established that Sibi violated the rule and also it was established and confirmed by the secretary of Quetta that they had violated the rule on the inclusion of guest players in the match.”
