LAHORE, Nov 3: The Pakis-tan Postal Department has adopted precautionary measures to protect its workers from possible attack of Anthrax.

“Postal workers performing duties in major post offices in the Punjab region have been provided with masks, gloves and the necessary gadgets to protect them from anthrax”, Punjab Post Master General Muhammad Latif said on Saturday.

The PMG said no postal worker had been infected by anthrax and that the department had received no anthrax-carrying letter or parcel. He denied that such an incident had occurred recently in Gujrat. —APP
