PML leader flays Indian propaganda
ISLAMABAD, Oct 20: Former foreign minister and a Muslim League leader Sartaj Aziz has said that Indians are making an abortive move to project Pakistan as an irresponsible state.
Speaking at a PTV programme ‘News Night’ late on Friday night he said the fact is that Pakistan is a responsible state and has always cooperated in international peace efforts.
He said the Indians were expecting an emotional stand by the Pakistan government and people following September 11 incidents but their dream could not materialize.
They rushed without wasting any time with all tools and devices to get their design fulfilled but to no avail, he said.
Sartaj said with the failure of their immediate plot, they are now trying other options such as unprovoked firing on the civilian population across the Line of Control and threats of escalation to hit so-called camps in Azad Kashmir.
He said as the international community has decided to fight terrorism across the world, the Indians want to take undue advantage of this situation by projecting Kashmiri freedom fighters in negative terms.
The fact is that India itself is a terrorist state as it is applying all the anti-human techniques to crush the legitimate struggle of Kashmiri people for the right of self-determination, he said. He said the Indians would not let lose any opportunity to disturb Pakistan without having a view of international priorities.—APP
