Passengers looted at gunpoint

MANSEHRA, Oct 20: bandits looted the passengers of a bus at gunpoint near Khawary, some 15 km from here on Saturday morning.

Police source said around 135 criminals are registered with district police and most of them are hiding in the mountains of the Tanaval in the jurisdiction of Pulra and Lassain Nawab police stations.

These outlaws are involved in heinous crimes like killing, looting and abducting for ransoms and have made the life of the people miserable.

On  Saturday, about eight of them, having Klashnikoves, intercepted a bus near Khawary and looted around 70 commuters including women.

They removed the wrist watches and ornaments of the women and snatched money from most of the passengers.

They also looted a motorcyclist and inmates of pickup.
