Two cops shot dead in Karachi

KARACHI, Oct 14: Two police constables were shot dead by unidentified people at Jahangir Road on late Sunday night.

Constables Mohammad Asif and Jamal Baig, who were in their late twenties, were present at a picket near Shah-i-Najaf Imambargah, Jahangir Road No 3 when unidentified assailants riding motorcycles sprayed them with bullets.

Both of them died on the spot and their bodies were shifted to hospital, according to police sources.
