KARACHI: Two rangers men wounded

By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, Oct 12: Unidentified people shot and wounded two personnel of the Indus Rangers near the office of the Board of Secondary Education in Nazimabad on late Friday night.

Sources at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital said they had received two injured rangers men, SI Fayyaz with injuries caused by stone throwing and constable Umerdaraz Khan with a bullet wound.

The North Nazimabad, Nazimabad and Paposh Nagar police kept on shifting responsibility over jurisdiction to one another.

The sources said a group of miscreants appeared in cars, hurled stones on a rangers picket and opened fire which resulted in injuries to the two rangers men.
