HUNZA The water level in Attabad lake is rising continuously because of a difference in the inflow and outflow of the lake.

The inflow was more than 6500 cusecs while the outflow from the spillway was recorded at 6430 cusecs on Thursday.

During the last 24 hours, the rise in the water level was 3.1 inches and had become a concern for the residents of the Gojal area.

The helicopter service in Hunza could not resume because of bad weather.

Owing to lack of transportation, the supply of food, medicine and other goods has been stopped in the area.—DawnNews/APP
