The police said the encounter took place in Ghazi Goth, Malir, within the remit of the Malir City police station, where the SHO of the police station with his party motioned three suspects riding a motorcycle to stop, but instead they opened fire on the police and tried to escape.

The police party chased and gunned down all the three riders, the police said.
