TEHRAN: Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says there is no obstacle currently to expand barter trade with other countries, particularly Pakistan, Iran's Islamic Republic News Agency IRNA reported.

Ahmadinejad said this in meeting with visiting special envoy of Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari here.

“Iran and Pakistan are two big neighboring countries with vast potentials for cooperation,” he said.

He said Iran chose to import goods as much as possible from Pakistan in order to benefit Islamabad.

Iran is also ready to export energy and electricity to Pakistan.

Pakistan special envoy said policy of cooperation with Iran is based on enhancing bilateral ties.
