LAHORE, June15: In response to five questions for the chief justice by real estate tycoon Malik Riaz in his press conference and a TV interview, the Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf has also raised as many questions to the property developer.

In a statement issued here on Friday, PTI Information Secretary Shafqat Mahmood said: “It is time that Malik Riaz too answer some questions” which he listed as:

Did you meet President  Zardari in the ‘darkness’ of night before the press conference on June 12?

Did you take instructions from Zardari about what to say in the conference?

You claim to have given money to politicians, judiciary, journalists, military officials and bureaucrats. Why don’t you disclose their names?

Whose messenger were you in 2009 during the restoration of the judiciary, when you had meetings with the chief justice?

Why did you wait three years before disclosing details of the money your family has allegedly spent on Arsalan Iftikhar?

“There can be no credibility of any of your claims until you answer these questions,” he said. “We wait to hear your response.” — Staff Reporter
