Women in France protesting for rights

France, home to Europe's biggest Muslim population, has banned the wearing of full-face veils in public from outdoor marketplaces to the sidewalks and boutiques of the Champs-Elysees on Monday. It was the first case in Europe, exposing anyone who wears the Muslim niqab or burqa in public to fine 150 Euros (18,400 Rupees) and lessons in French citizenship.
