Two sisters recovered

SHIKARPUR, Jan 19: Police found two sisters who had been kidnapped from Punjab in Abdul Rehman Shar village near Garhi Yasin on Wednesday.

A police official said that Shahnaz alias Nasreen, 17, and Parveen, 9, of Sira-i-Mughal village near Patoki, had been kidnapped by their relative Mohammad AshrafMachhi two years ago.

They were sold to an alleged bandit named Asad Shar who was arrested by police a few days ago. Shahnaz, who was forced to marry Asad, gave birth to a son sixmonths ago.

Police raided the village and found the two sisters in the house of Asad.
