Gen Arif Hasan

KARACHI, Dec 11: President of the Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) Lt Gen (retd) Syed Arif Hasan will step down from the post of managing director, Fauji Foundation, on Dec 28 on completion of three-year tenure.

He was appointed by former president Musharraf on a three-year contract following his retirement from the Army in 2005. He retired as military secretary.

The 58-year-old retired general who also heads the Pakistan Sports Trust (PST) plans to settle in Lahore which is also home to the POA headquarters.
