QUETTA, June 8: Three people were killed and seven others injured when a bomb exploded on a bus in Hub town on Friday night.

Police said the explosive device was planted in front of a hotel on RCD road at Ghulam Qadir Chowk and exploded when the passenger coach was passing through.

The coach was heading from Lasbela to Karachi.

The injured were shifted to a local hospital for treatment.

AP adds: ''We don’t know who planted the bomb in the bus, and officers are still investigating,'' a local police chief said, without providing any further details.
