KARACHI, Dec 2: After going down 2-3 against Japan, Pakistan will meet North Korea in their second football tie of the Asian Games at Qatar Sports Club Stadium on Sunday.
The match will commence at 7:45pm (local time).
The North Korea has psychological advantage over their South Asian rivals with a 5-0 win in the last Asian Games at Busan in 2002.
Pakistan skipper Mohammad Essa believed his side had the potential to beat the North Korea.
“The moral of the team is high especially after showing commendable performance against Japan and we are confident for a win against the North Koreans,” the ace national striker told a local TV channel.
