KASUR: A man electrocuted his wife to death on Friday in the name of honour, in the limits of Mandi Usmanwala police station.

The suspect had earlier claimed that his spouse died due to an electric shock while working in the house but women giving bath to her body were shocked to see multiple torture marks.

Following an information, police rushed to the spot and took the body into custody.

Police said accused husband Shakeel Ahmed doubted the character of his wife ‘S’. On Friday, he gave her multiple electric shocks that left her dead.

Police shifted the body to the hospital, Kasur, for autopsy.
