Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi has slammed Israel’s “punishment” of United Nations chief Antonio Guterres by breaking all contact.

In a post on X, he termed the move “a sign of the same dangerous pattern: evading accountability by attacking international institutions”.

“Conflict-related sexual violence, attacks against civilians, and ceasefire violations should be pursued within the framework of war crimes, crimes against humanity, and international responsibility,” he said.
