Deputy commissioner Mohammad Fahim Khan issued an order, imposing a complete ban on certain activities in Bannu from February 1 to 7.

The decision was taken following a report received from the Bannu district police officer, highlighting the upcoming OPV National Immunisation Days polio campaign scheduled from February 2 to 5, and security concerns due to past terrorist attacks on polio teams and police contingents.
