The Israeli military said its air force attacked over 140 times in the Gaza Strip over the past day, claiming all those hit were “terror targets”, Al Jazeera reports.

An Israeli naval strike on a seaside internet cafe killed at least 39 people. There were also attacks on sites distributing aid to hungry people.

The Israeli Army’s Division 36 expanded its ground occupation to additional areas of Gaza, “killing dozens of militants and destroying hundreds of terrorist infrastructures both above and below ground”, it said.

According to the Israeli army, its Division 99 forces killed two fighters, and Division 162 soldiers killed eight more.

The Israeli army also confirmed that its naval forces “attacked several terrorist targets and militants in the southern Gaza Strip”.
